Let's celebrate 2024 with a beach day and badminton! We're hosting a BBQ at the beach in Ocean Grove, followed by a 2hr badminton session nearby at Ocean Grove Memorial Reserve. It's been a rollercoaster of a year in 2024, so we'd love to celebrate with the Shuttlecats community as our final social event of the year. Whether you're new to Shuttlecats, a regular member, or an old friend of the club, join us for a relaxing day to make memories and hang out with fellow Shuttlecats 💞 Key Info: 🌭What: BBQ at the beach & 2hrs of badminton 📍Where: Ocean Grove Rotunda (BBQ & beach), badminton at the sporting facilities in Ocean Grove Memorial Reserve 📆When: Saturday 30th November, 12pm - 7pm 💸Price: $45pp. Ticket price goes towards food and soft drink, 2 hours of badminton with Coach Abbie, and supporting the costs of running Shuttlecats 💖 Itinerary: - 12PM: Meet at the beach for BBQ - 12PM - 4PM: BBQ & beach time! - 4PM - 5PM: Pack up, get changed, travel to badminton facilities - 5PM - 7PM: Badminton at Ocean Grove Memorial Reserve, including coaching by Coach Abbie! Calling all ghosts & ghurls - celebrate the spooky season at Shadow Cats, a night where your favourite Shuttlecats community turns ghoulish 👻 We're joining the celebrations at the beloved Beers for Queers Halloween Party to usher in the scariest night of the year 🩻 Beers for Queers is Naarm's monthly free queer party at the Fox Hotel in Collingwood. Their October event is a Halloween Party, with spooky performances, DJs, and a popup artist market, including a prize for the finest gayest, ghouliest fit for the night! Shuttlecats have booked a small table from 5pm to 7pm - come join us for a casual drink and a meal before the party heats up, and bring your best frightful features!
