This is a special general meeting to discuss the amendment of the Shuttlecats club charter to better distribute responsibilities amongst all Committee members. Special Resolution Proposal That Shuttlecats Badminton Club adopt the following resolution: Amendment of Rule 44 – Composition of the Committee That Rule 44 of the Club Charter be amended to allow the assignment of specific officer duties to Ordinary Committee Members, and that Rule 44 be replaced with the following: 44 Composition of Committee (1) The Committee consists of— (a) a President; and (b) a Vice-President; and (c) a Secretary; and (d) a Treasurer; and (e) ordinary members (if any) elected under rule 53. (2) Ordinary members may be assigned specific duties as designated by the incumbent Committee. It is intended that this resolution be proposed as a special resolution.
